NEM Consulting

Founded in 1993, NEM Consulting has been providing Networking, high-end Messaging and secure Internet integration solutions to clients throughout New England, the United States, and even the World.

At NEM Consulting, we don't sell hardware, we don't sell software.  All we do is make it work.

What we sell is Service and Support.  NEM Consulting partners with our clients to provide on going service, support and training.  For smaller firms, we can act as their entire IT department, for larger companies we can backfill any shortfall of staffing or expertise.

We take pride in designing and implementing solutions that are not only effective, but also cost effective.  We plan our integration challenges as if the dollars were coming out of our own budgets.

Some of the Projects we've completed in the last year:

Antivirus: Keep it Current

Regardless of which Antivirus product you use, make sure that both the Virus Signatures AND the Engine are kept up to date.

Up-to-date virus signatures insure that your Antivirus software can spot all the latest virus incarnations that have been identified.

An up-to-date Engine will be aware of all the latest delivery systems used by viruses.

Take a quick look to make sure that all of you workstations are up to date.  I've run across many computers across a range of clients that had Antivirus preloaded on the workstations when they shipped, and it's now three years out of date . . . or even worse . . . no Antivirus software at all!
